Manager - Intellectual Property & Contract Governance Services

KPMG's Global IP & Contract Governance Advisory (IPCG) practice provides our clients with third-party reviews to help monitor compliance, identify errors, and ultimately help recover lost revenue or overcharges.  This includes areas such as royalties, licensing (software, music, and digital content), resellers and distributors, advertising, and more.

 

The IPCG practice currently has an opportunity for an experienced professional to join its fast growing Sydney team.  You will work closely with a dynamic team of professionals to conduct third-party reviews at a wide range of organisations, including desktop analysis, project management, onsite fieldwork, reporting and client management across Asia.  You will also assume complete accountability for the planning, execution and completion of engagements and take on some responsibility for developing, motivating and training staff.

 

The successful candidate will have experience in the IT industry and a strong exposure to a wide range of technologies, environments, methodologies (particularly IT support, Systems Administration, Software licensing, Business Process Analysis, IT contract and vendor management, and service level management) and have excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).  A qualification such as ITIL or equivalent would be advantages. 

 

This role will appeal to a professional who is self-directing, has efficient project management and organisational skills.  Superior negotiation and conflict management skills are essential.
