Course Development Manager

Salary Level: 8  - A$73K - A$82K per year (plus   17%  employer superannuation and leave loading)

 

The Master of Business and Technology (MBT) is a joint initiative of the Australian School of Business and the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW. It is a creative and innovative response to the growing demand for accessible post-graduate programs that blend management development with an understanding of how to use technology.

 

The Course Development Manager is responsible for the ongoing revision, production and innovation in all MBT learning resources (study guides, CD ROM, web etc) and various printed and online content for promotional and student communication purposes.   Working closely with the Academic Director and the Instructional Designer, the Course Development Manager will be required to develop key relationships with Course Coordinators, authors and suppliers in order to guarantee delivery of a quality product to budget and deadline.

 

To be successful in this role you will need to have outstanding verbal and written communication, demonstrated research, editing and proofreading skills, high level planning, organisational and project management skills, a demonstrated high level of competency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat and the digitisation process, a good understanding of Intellectual Property and Australian Copyright law, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior academics, business and professional people.
