A unique opportunity has become available within The Berlei Group for a highly experienced Design Room Coordinator to join their successful design team. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will coordinate and assist all business aspects of the design development period, including planning, resourcing, reviewing timelines, fittings and people management. This is to be achieved in accordance with the Berlei Business Calendar and financial KPI’s.

 

The duties of this role will include:

 

• Developing and implementing project plans for the design team inline with the business calendar
• Regularly and proactively monitoring task completion and process compliance
• Coordinating Trend/WGSN & Lectra CAD contracts’ negotiations and licensing agreements
• Assisting in the development and implementation of internal processes and intellectual property
• Preparing monthly board reports for Head of Design
• Working with Head of Design on attracting, developing and retaining a highly competent and motivated team
• Coaching team members to achieve their performance objectives and developing individual competencies.

 

Experience and skills we are looking for:

 

• Tertiary qualification in Business management
• Demonstrated skills in project management of a Design team
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Proven people and team management skills
• Highly effective communication, influential and negotiation skills
